The Islands dotted along the Yemen coast are laden with marine life. The Red Sea is still considered one of the worlds finest for diving where Egyptian and Turkish shipwrecks lay side by side and an extraordinary menagerie of flora and fauna are on show.
Dive options include night diving, wreck diving and coral diving with all abilities catered for. The island of Socotra was recently named as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Expect to see plenty of moray eels, cuttle fish and stone fish and some of the world's last remaining virgin coral reefs. Visibility can be problematic at times.
