There is a vast array of inland diving in America but great lake diving remains one of the most popular destinations. Stacked full of thousands of shipwrecks dating back to the 1800's, great lake diving is fantastic for technical divers. Lake Superior Minnesota is home to very well preserved ship wrecks including the Kamloops a 250 foot freighter sunk in 1927. Diving here is for the more advanced with a dry suit being required.
