Although not an open water dive, the Georgia Aquarium offers a diving experience with multiple species in a vast contained environment. It is a very colorful opportunity to interact with conservation staff, the public and the underwater life.
The aquarium has a "no touch" policy which is aligned with its conservation practices. There's an in-house vet staff and medical facility where sea life from around the world are rehabilitated. Aside from the several whale sharks, the Aquarium is home to its very popular guest, Nandi the manta ray. Nandi was transfered from South Africa after washing ashore.
