Pemba, Zanzibar and Mafia Island all offer pristine diving in Tanzania. Pemba is great for drift diving with a non-stop oceanic current full of giant trevally, hammerhead sharks and tuna in their masses. Pemba is for more experienced divers and all diving is done from liveaboards.

Mafia Island is great for diving amongst beautiful unspoilt coral with whale sharks inhabiting the waters from November to January. The dugong is still spotted in these waters along with leatherback and green turtles.
