Taiwan offers diving on par with Asian neighbours at a fraction of the cost. Waters are also relatively unexplored and are therefore clean and pristine across the hundreds of dive sites available.

Kenting at the south of Taiwan is a popular national park spot for more experienced divers (there are strong currents here). There are coral canyons, reefs, caves and good visibility to see hawksbill turtles, blue spotted sting rays, lobsters and tropical fish. Green Island is another good site located a little further offshore near Taitung.
