Papua New Guinea has a reputation as one of the world's best dive locations thanks to reefs, coral walls, sheer drops, atolls, lagoons and shipwrecks. The waters are clear and surrounded by idyllic rainforest and volcanoes.
Diving here is often ranked number one in the world with at least double the amount of marine life of locations in the Red Sea. Lying within the Ring of Fire an area proven to be laden with the most marine life, the waters are full of sharks, barracuda, large tuna and more. Additionally there are wrecks mostly dating back to World War II include planes and submarines now acting as coral reefs.
