Sabah plays host to some of the best diving in the in the Celebes Sea, Sipadan Island is a well known site whilst macro diving is stunning in neighbouring Mabul. Layang Layang offers first-class diving with turtles in their hundreds, hammer head sharks and a pristine coral atoll. Whale sharks are also seen migrating through Lankayan.
