Diving in Kenya can be experienced at a number of dive sites along the coast and is a great addition to a safari holiday for divers of all levels. Water life includes corals, reef sharks, trevally, moray eels, ghost pipe fish, turtles and parrot fish. Whale sharks arrive from October through to April and Humpback whales from July to October.
There are also a number of shipwrecks waiting to be explored including steam trawlers from World War II which is home to some rare fish, MFV Alpha Funguo is a fishing vessel sunk deliberately in 2001 as an artificial reef. Diving is available all year round with water temperatures reaching 29C and visibility up to 30 metres.
