Good diving can be found in Goa, Lakshadweep which is a group of islands in the Arabian Sea and in the Bay of Bengal around the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Each site is completely different with Goa offering safe waters full of tropical marine life and shipwrecks including Portuguese galleons.

Lakshadweep is home to crystal blue lagoons and coral atolls and is often compared to a quieter version of the Maldives. The lagoons and atolls here are spectacular and laden with a vivid marine scene that is still relatively unexplored. The waters surrounding the volcanic Andaman and Nicobar Islands boast rare coral, sharks, rays, trigger fish and an astonishingly diverse range of marine flora and fauna over a wide range of dive spots.
