Honduras is home to some of the world's most stunning underwater sites characterised by stunning coral, sponges, reefs and marine life. Most diving tales place around the Bay Islands of Roatan, Utila and Guanaja.

Roatan Island is the top of an underwater mountain ridge which also includes Utila and Guanaja. As such it is encircled by beautiful coral reefs boasting every variety imaginable including rare black coral and barrel sponges. Marine creatures here include fairy basslets, blue tangs, seahorses and due to its proximity to the Cayman Trench, whale sharks, dolphins, rays and turtles. Roatan is also well-known for its wall dives.
