Canada Dive Reviews

Diving on Canada's East Coast is fresh and cold thus providing optimum conditions to preserve the shipwrecks dotted around Ontario's lakes and rivers. Marine life is not very spectacular so wreck diving amongst boats from 1800 through to World War II is what diving here is all about. Dry suits are recommended.

Canada's West Coast is thought by some to offer the best temperate water diving in the world. Nanaimo and Vancouver Island boast the best marine life including giant pacific octopus, six gill sharks, wolf eels and harbour seals. With gardens of sponges, kelps, walls and shipwrecks all waiting to be explored. The Saskatchewan wreck is always popular and abundant in marine life whilst The Cape Breton, a World War II wreck, is noted as the world's second largest diver prepared artificial reef.
