Brazil boasts an amazing 4,600 miles of coastline making it a hot spot for divers seeking coral reef, shipwreck and dolphin adventures. The wrecks of Recife and Fernando de Noronha couples with sparkling coral reefs makes Brazil's Northeastern coastline a sure bet.

Recife offers 12 wrecks in crystal warm waters home to a wealth of marine life. Discover war galleons, steamships and barges with excellent visibility.

Fernando de Noronha is home to 21 islands with a National Marine Sanctuary offering plenty for divers and snorkeler including pelagic fish, ocean mammals, shipwrecks, coral gardens, and a dolphin colony. Also expect to see reef sharks and turtles. The 600 or so dolphins and juvenile sharks are all a permanent fixture with turtle release programmes also ongoing. Shipwrecks include a sunken Portuguese frigate.

Other dive spots include Salvador Bahia where a Greek cargo ship lies. Abrolhos meanwhile offers an excellent array of coral and rock formations with humpback whales seen from June to December. The wetlands of Pantanal offer an opportunity to get up close and personal with wildlife whilst Bonito is great for cavern and cave diving.
