As expected Barbados is an accessible dive spot throughout the year with very good visibility ranging up to 70 feet and warm waters. All levels of divers are welcome with plenty also on offer for snorkelling fans.
A variety of barrier reef diving 1-2 miles off shore offers healthy marine vegetation from corals to sponges and plants. The reefs are also great for snorkelling where thousands of fish play, rest and eat, plus the Hawksbill turtle is usually seen close by. Reefs closer to Barbados shore deliver unique coral displays where sea horses and giant sand eels make up the array of inhabitants. Shipwrecks are also in abundance in Barbados with around 200 wrecks located in Carlisle Bay alone.
