Anguilla offers divers a decent range of options including wreck dives, shore dives, night dives and mini wall dives. One of the biggest attractions in Anguilla is the five plus ships sunk deliberately to create artificial reefs. El Buen Consejo a 960 tonnes Spanish Galleon is the star of the show resting on the ocean floor. Around these wrecks are stingrays, garden eels and the odd turtle.
The azure waters around Anguilla are also home to seven marine parks with healthy reefs and an array of flourishing corals. Anguilla also boasts a healthy double reef system, where a wide variety of corals flourish. Scrub Island at the east of Anguilla is also worth a look for some shark spotting. Expect waters of 80 degrees all year and an average visibility of 100 feet.
