The tropical climate in South East Asia and some of the world's most noted dive sites make this a region that many divers return to year after year. Surprisingly Brunei offers the most diverse range of diving opportunities, with 4,500 hectares of coral reefs and coastlines steeped with manta rays, hammerhead sharks, grey tip sharks and lots of exotic fish. In addition disused oil rig platforms, shipwrecks and coral pinnacles add to Brunei's diving portfolio.
